Using Aster V7 on Windows 10

Using Aster V7 On Windows 10

If you have already downloaded and have Aster currently running, skip to number 8.

  1. First step would be to go to this website here-http://www.ibik.ru/version-for-windows-10  and download the free software, then restart your computer.
  2. Once you start to run the software you will see a screen that looks like this in step 3. What you will see is all of your devices connected to your one computer. Start creating your individual workspaces with your connected devices. Confused as to what mouse is which on the screen? Simple solution, just move the mouse and it will highlight the onscreen mouse you are moving!
  3. Once you have your workstations all setup you'll need to go to the General Settings Tab.
  4. in here you'll see a screen that looks like this,
Now what you need to decide is if you'd like the program to run automatically on startup. I prefer to click the box personally.
  5. Now you need to go to the Extended Settings Tab and you will see a screen that looks like this,
Click the "Enable Aster and Reboot PC" button in the lower left.
  6. After Reboot you need to go back to the Extended Settings Tab and Click Run Aster Workspaces if you decided not to Auto Run the program on Startup.
  7. Now you should be up and running with all your workstations! If you aren't, then you are right where I was. Thankfully I figured out my problem.
  8. First, check your Display Settings. Right click on your desktop and click Display settings.
  9. Now what you will have to do is click Multiple Displays as shown here in this picture. Here you have a couple different options such as, Duplicate these Displays, Extend these Displays and Show Only 1 or 2.
Click on Duplicate These Displays and save your settings. It might be instant, but don't get too excited just yet! Check all workstations and be sure all assigned components are working. If so be sure to restart your computer and you are done!
  10. If changing your Display Settings did not fix your problem then give this a shot. Mine wasn't fixed at this point either and I was stumped. Don't worry, there is one more thing that just might help you out!
  11. What you need to do is count the amount of Workstations you are creating. Now just be sure you have the same amount of User Profiles on Windows. Unsure of how to add Users? Look no further.
  12. Click on the lower left Search Engine in the Taskbar of your Desktop and search "Control Panel". Once it shows up, click on the program and you will see a screen like this,
Now you want to click on User Accounts, Manage Accounts, Add New User In PC Settings and follow the step by step instructions. Add your required amount of users and now all workstations will be able to have their own independent log in.

I hope this helps you prevent the headache!
